Weather Analytics is recruiting for an outstanding marketer with at least three years of relevant experience in the insurance industry. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, highly creative team player who can also work independently. The initial focus of this role is to support sales and manage marketing operations — with an opportunity for rapid growth into a director’s role, based on performance metrics and business results.

Key tasks will include:

  • helping lead and execute development of the company’s new name and brand, “Athenium Analytics”
  • conducting or supervising market research
  • analyzing, recommending, and assisting with product positioning and branding
  • creating or supervising creation of marketing collateral, to include product demo videos
  • managing corporate social media channels
  • coordinating marketing programs with internal graphics design resources
  • managing the company website
  • monitoring effectiveness of marketing programs using metrics and analysis
  • supporting corporate events and coordinating trade-show/conference selection, logistics, and post-event analysis

The successful candidate will work with an energetic, results-focused team to develop and implement marketing initiatives. Experiences and attributes that are important in considering candidates for this role include:

  • knowledge of the insurance industry, acquired either by work for a carrier or marketing for carriers’ suppliers, especially tech companies
  • relevant corporate, technology, and software experience
  • thriving in fast-paced environments and a love of learning and teaching
  • proficiency in using MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • an impressive, wide-ranging portfolio of marketing materials and campaigns created or managed by a candidate, including measurable objectives and quantifiable results
  • experience in SEO and social media use for marketing
  • demonstrated strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • experience using Internet for business research and communications
  • strong organizational and follow-up track record
  • sense of humor
  • BA/BS in Marketing or Communications desirable

Depending on preference of the successful candidate and other considerations, this role will be based in Dover, NH, Waltham, MA, or Washington, DC.
